The Brand & What We Make
Z E N' E I operates across three product arms, each with different production models and policies.
Sample Sales are governed by separate terms in Section 8.
Placing an Order
Orders are placed through zenei.eu. By completing checkout, you confirm you are at least 18 years of age (or have parental/guardian consent), confirm the delivery details provided are accurate, acknowledge the production and delivery timelines stated on the product page and in these terms, and enter into a binding purchase contract with Z E N' E I.
For Label and Collective pieces: the contract is formed when your payment is confirmed and you receive an order confirmation email. For Create Your Own: the contract is formed when the 50% deposit is paid and the design mock-up is confirmed in writing. See Section 6.
Pricing & Payment
All prices are displayed in EUR and include applicable VAT where required. Shipping costs are included in the displayed price — there are no additional charges at checkout.
Payments are processed via Stripe. Z E N' E I does not store your payment card details. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to payment processing. Prices shown at the time of purchase are the prices you pay.
Production & Delivery Timelines
Processing time is the time required to prepare your order before it is shipped:

Timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Delays caused by customs, carrier disruptions, or circumstances outside our control do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund unless statutory rights apply. If a significant delay arises on our end, we will contact you directly.
Returns & Exchanges
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of delivery, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and the Slovenian Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-1).
To exercise this right: items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags attached. Contact us at info@zenei.eu within 14 days of receiving your order. Ship the item back at your own cost within 14 days of notifying us. Upon receipt and inspection, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 14 days. We reserve the right to refuse a return or reduce the refund if the item shows signs of use, damage, or removal of tags.
Defective or damaged items: notify us at info@zenei.eu within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. We will offer a remedy (replacement, repair, or refund) in accordance with EU consumer law.
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition. Contact us within 14 days, ship back at your own cost, refund issued within 14 days of receipt and inspection. Given the singular nature of these pieces, we strongly encourage buyers to review all photographs and measurements carefully before purchasing.
Defective items: notify within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
Custom-commissioned pieces are explicitly excluded from the right of withdrawal under Article 16(c) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU. Full terms are in Section 6.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under EU or Slovenian consumer law, including your right to a remedy for goods not in conformity with the contract. Our standard warranty period for manufacturing defects is 2 years from delivery.
Create Your Own — Custom Commission Terms
The 50% deposit is non-refundable once production has begun. By paying the deposit you acknowledge that you have approved the design mock-up in writing, production will begin immediately, and the deposit covers the time, labour, and materials invested regardless of the final outcome.
If final payment is not received within 14 days: your deposit is forfeited in full, the piece becomes the property of Z E N' E I, and the piece may be listed for public sale at any price we determine. No refund of the deposit will be issued. This applies regardless of reason for non-payment, unless Z E N' E I has materially failed to deliver what was agreed in the confirmed mock-up.
If the completed piece materially deviates from the approved mock-up through our error, we will offer a remedy: correction, redo, or full refund including deposit. If you have simply changed your mind, the deposit forfeiture terms in Section 6.3 apply.
Minimum turnaround is 4 weeks from deposit payment. Timelines are estimated and may extend due to material sourcing or production complexity. We will communicate any delays proactively.
Intellectual Property
All designs, graphics, concepts, collection names, and brand materials produced by Z E N' E I remain our intellectual property. Purchasing a garment does not grant you any rights to reproduce, copy, or commercialise the design applied to it.
For Create Your Own commissions: the design created for you is custom and will not be reproduced for other customers. However, Z E N' E I retains the right to photograph and share the piece for portfolio and marketing purposes unless you explicitly request otherwise at the time of commissioning.
Sample Sales
Items sold through the F&F sample sale are sold at a reduced price to reflect their status as samples, test pieces, or slightly imperfect items.
Shipping & Risk
Risk in the goods passes to you upon dispatch. Once an item has been handed to the carrier and a tracking number issued, Z E N' E I is not liable for delays, loss, or damage caused by the carrier. In the event of a lost shipment, we will open an investigation with the carrier on your behalf. All prices include shipping — there are no additional charges.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Z E N' E I's liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia and the applicable laws of the European Union. If a dispute arises that we cannot resolve directly, you may contact the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your order governs that order. The effective date at the top of this document reflects the current version.
